“Smise” is a beautiful cafe located on 80 ft. road in Koramangala. It is spread across the fourth floor of a building and has some lovely terrace seating too. The whole terrace area is surrounded with innumerable pots and the breeze is wonderful.
Their menu has plenty of things to choose from – salads, sandwiches, pizzas, sizzlers, shakes and much more. They also have loads of board-games too if you get bored 🙂
It’s hard to reach a consensus at home when everyone wants to have something different for dinner 😀 Yesterday night, “Sizzling Monk” came to our rescue; it had something to please everyone’s tastbuds. The place has recently opened(not more than a week old I suppose) and boasts of an interesting menu which has everything from Chinese, pizza, pasta to sizzlers, shakes etc.
It’s good to see HSR Layout rapidly evolving as a foodie’s delight. I always used to complain about it not having enough places that serve good Chinese food, but it’s not the case anymore, thanks to places like Sizzling Monk. Before entering here, I also spotted a ‘Cream & Fudge’ outlet right next to it and decided to have desserts there post dinner 😀
Baithak translates to “living room” or “lounge”(in a more formal sense) in Hindi, and is indeed built like that. I noticed this place last week when I went to Tea Trails, which is located right opposite to it.
The place looks quite beautiful with some gazebos for group seating, and lots of smaller sized tables. Special note to ladies, don’t go to this place wearing your pretty heels, all the floors(outside and inside) are covered with sand and you’ll have a difficult time walking around 🙂
We were on a lookout for sizzlers this weekend and decided to try out Yana sizzlers.
I think we reached the place too early and their upstairs dining area was not open. We chose a table near window overlooking the busy street.
This Saturday, we both were craving for sizzlers but didn’t want to venture anywhere far from our house. So HSR it was, and having already tried Once upon a flame, we ended up at Earth Plate.
I suppose this is the one of the few sizzler places in HSR and near to my home. We dropped in for dinner on friday around 9:30. It is right next to McDonald’s and wasn’t very crowded for a friday night.
We both liked the place instantly because of it’s neat and simplistic decor, brick walls and posters. We were quickly ushered to a corner table and were provided food menus.
Average at best. That’s how I would describe this outlet and its food.
Service is bad. The waiters hardly pay attention to what you are asking for. e.g. the one who took my order asked me if I wanted mashed potatoes or fries. Continue reading
