Rural Blues, Sarjapur Road

“Rural Blues” was on my list since it opened, and last weekend Mr.H graciously agreed to go there for lunch(finally!) 😀 The place has a beautiful entrance which looks more like someone’s residence than a restaurant. They have some beautiful outdoor and rooftop seating, but both of them were booked for a private party that day.

Interiors are very simple and neat, and I liked the fact that they hadn’t crammed in too many tables. There’s a bar counter on one end and an open kitchen on the other.

Their food menu is vast and they have dishes from many cuisines, Indian, Thai, Italian to name a few. Bar menu has decent choices for cocktails and liquors, though I wish they had more choices for beers. We started off with our usual bira along with veg nachos and magic mushrooms.

Hoot, Sarjapur Road

I had been frequently working Hoot into our weekend conversations of “where do we go for lunch today?”. Mr. H finally gave in this weekend, and we went there for a late lunch 🙂

I had seen some beautiful pictures of its striking ambiance on different websites and blogs, and was looking forward to visiting it.

Aroi, Sarjapur Road

Aroi means delicious in Thai, and this place truly lives up to its name. We decided to visit it for lunch over the weekend, climbed four flights of stairs(totally worth it!), and had some amazing food.

The place looks simple yet beautiful and overlooks Kaikondrahalli lake near Sarjapur Road. They have plenty of seating and we decided to take a table outside that had a nice view of the lake.

“Beautiful ambiance. Period” @Fisherman’s Wharf, Sarjapur Road

This place was long pending on my list, and this Saturday we finally got a chance to visit. We made an early reservation for 7:30, assuming that the place must get crowded later. Getting a table of your choice at such a place on a Saturday evening in Bangalore, what more can you ask for! 🙂
