“The Flying Squirrel” is a small cafe located right above ‘Asia Kitchen’ in Koramangala, and in a short time it has garnered great reviews for its brews.
We dropped in for coffee over a weekend and the place was buzzing. Menu here has a long list of different kinds of brews, and while we both enjoy coffee, none of us is an expert. So instead of choosing one of their brews, we asked for a Vietnamese cold coffee, a black coffee on the rocks and a slice of their freshly baked lemon cake.
This legendary place called ‘The Hole in the Wall Cafe‘ had been on my list forever and I never got to visit it due to the never-ending queues there. The place doesn’t take reservations and parking is a hassle, which doesn’t help the case either!
So the other day when this place popped up on my Swiggy app, I was very happy and we both decided to order from there. They have a superb breakfast menu as well as lots of burgers/sandwiches to choose from. I placed an order for a grilled double chicken sandwich, big ‘shrooms & onions sandwich and a portion of hash browns.
I was bored of my usual burger delivery places when I spotted Biggies on Swiggy. Their menu has quite a lot of choices for subs and burgers, and I placed an order for a classic mushroom sub and a chicken american cheese burger.
Delivery was on time and packaging was good. Both sub and burger looked good in size, but had gone a little soggy due to all the mayo inside them.
Smally’s is a chain of hole-in-the-wall kind of places that churn out delicious comfort food every single time you visit. I have tried their Church Street outlet and had some lip-smacking food there. This weekend we went to the Koramanagala outlet for some takeaway and got a hamster sandwich, magic mushroom burger, chicken stroganoff and red velvet cupcake.
Though the place was not packed my order took a really long time, but their food kind of made up for it.
Muffets & Tuffets is a beautiful cafe in Koramangala that derives its name from an old nursery rhyme called “Little Miss Muffet“. We went here for lunch this weekend and had some surprisingly good food.
They have a big menu with loads of stuff to choose from, everything from sandwiches, burgers, salads to delicious sounding mains. There is also a very tempting dessert counter which is not to be missed 🙂 The cafe has decent amount of seating and is very quiet & peaceful. Seating is very comfortable and service is pretty good.
Beautiful sunny beaches, food, beer and wind in my hair..that’s Goa for me 🙂
After finishing breakfast at home, we walked to the beach. The main road in Calangute is lined with loads of restobars and shops to eat and shop from.
After enjoying the lovely waves and turning a few shades darker :D, we got seated at one of the shacks for beers, fries and sandwiches. Frankly, I have lost track of the amount of beer I’ve had during this week 🙂 Veg sandwich was good, and chicken sandwich was super delicious. It was cheesy and loaded with tender chunks of perfectly cooked chicken.
Tired after a lot of shopping and with no energy to go out for dinner, I started looking up places on food delivery apps. Spotted this place with a curious name and decided to try it out. I checked out their website and figured the name is attributed to the fact that 75% of our body composition is based on what we eat.
Their menu, though quite limited, looked good and I ordered 2 sandwiches-one chicken blanc and another mushroom blanc.
