Beautiful sunny beaches, food, beer and wind in my hair..that’s Goa for me 🙂
After finishing breakfast at home, we walked to the beach. The main road in Calangute is lined with loads of restobars and shops to eat and shop from.
After enjoying the lovely waves and turning a few shades darker :D, we got seated at one of the shacks for beers, fries and sandwiches. Frankly, I have lost track of the amount of beer I’ve had during this week 🙂 Veg sandwich was good, and chicken sandwich was super delicious. It was cheesy and loaded with tender chunks of perfectly cooked chicken.
Tired after a lot of shopping and with no energy to go out for dinner, I started looking up places on food delivery apps. Spotted this place with a curious name and decided to try it out. I checked out their website and figured the name is attributed to the fact that 75% of our body composition is based on what we eat.
Their menu, though quite limited, looked good and I ordered 2 sandwiches-one chicken blanc and another mushroom blanc.
Following our usual tradition of ordering in on Sunday nights, we got dinner from this cafe in BTM. The photos on Zomato looked quite charming and I hoped food would be good too.
We placed an order for grilled chicken sandwich, mushroom cheese sandwich and a portion of crispy veggies (which looked especially tempting on the delivery app). Everything arrived on time, which was great for a Sunday evening.
I’m pretty sure you are thinking of pointing out the typo (medium crush) in my heading. Don’t worry, it’s not one 🙂
I think we have now run out of yet-to-be-tried places in Kormangala and HSR that serve thin crust pizzas. Over the weekend, we were wandering in JNC lane, Koramangala looking for another restaurant, when Mr. H spotted this place and we decided to try out the pizzas here.
It’s a cafe with very simple and neat decor, and a big menu which boasts of different kinds of burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, waffles and much more. They have a tempting breakfast menu too, I’m hoping I’ll get to try it sometime 🙂
These days, there seems to be an abundance of choices for home delivery on zomato ordering app. And when you see a comic name like this, you think ‘well I got to try this place!’.
We both were craving for some outside food yesterday, and thought of ordering from ‘Hungree Belly’. Its menu had a bit of everything, kebabs, curries, chinese gravies, sandwiches, pasta to name a few .
With nothing much to do on our second evening in Chikamagalur, we looked up a couple of places on Tripadvisor. This place looked beautiful and we decided to stop by for coffee.
It’s a charming little cafe, with a breathtaking view. The place has gazebos for seating, and a pool table too. There are beautiful plants and flowers all around, which add to its charm.
Spotted this tiny patisserie while getting out of What’s in the name cafe. All the desserts on display looked divine, so I decided to try out something.
Boulangerie (pronounced as boo-lanzhuh–ree) is a bakery that specializes/focuses mainly on baking breads and a patisserie is a bakery specializing in pastries, headed by a pastry chef.
If you think the name’s fancy, you should check out their menu. All the items have quirky names and are taken from Harry Potter series like Hagrid’s mead, Dumbledore’s dunker etc 🙂
