I’m pretty sure you are thinking of pointing out the typo (medium crush) in my heading. Don’t worry, it’s not one 🙂
I think we have now run out of yet-to-be-tried places in Kormangala and HSR that serve thin crust pizzas. Over the weekend, we were wandering in JNC lane, Koramangala looking for another restaurant, when Mr. H spotted this place and we decided to try out the pizzas here.
It’s a cafe with very simple and neat decor, and a big menu which boasts of different kinds of burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, waffles and much more. They have a tempting breakfast menu too, I’m hoping I’ll get to try it sometime 🙂
Loved and hated this place at the same time! It’s like a slightly upmarket dhaba that serves excellent food and beverages at low prices, but you can’t be finicky about hygiene here. You’d be spoilt for choices of both food and beverages, since they serve everything from chakhna (titbits like salted peanuts, fried moong dal etc), nachos, baos with quirky fillings to biryani and much more.
The first time we came here, there was a long queue. The next time we were there, it was closed due to prohibition 😦 Today was our lucky day and we got a table. They have some seating outside, but it was way too hot, so we chose to sit in. There was no one at the reception and none of the servers seemed interested in showing us a table, so we found a place ourselves and settled in.
Yay! Hubby finally agreed to drive to Indiranagar for lunch (maybe due to my relentless requests :P). But the place we were were planning to visit had no valet parking, and finding a parking place in Indiranagar is a challenge.
Habanero was nearby and we decided to stop there since it had valet parking. Their Koramangala outlet is closed now, and there are no other Mexican places in that area. This one looked like a rustic village house with minimal decor consisting of tiles etc.
A certain hungry afternoon took to this eatery recently. I had heard good things about this place at work and was eager to try it out.
We went to first floor and there were a few tables outside, but it was warm, so we decided to sit inside.
This place had been on our list for quite some time, and finally we made it over the weekend. We reached around 8’o clock and were fortunate to get a table outside. It got crowded after a while.
We ordered for draft beer, campeche bay margarita, and small portions of fiesta nachos and molletitos.
Amazing little place hidden away in one of the lanes in jayanagar.
We were in jayanagar over the weekend for some shopping and decided to pay a visit here. It was packed at around 3:30 in the afternoon. We were told to wait for 20 mins, but luckily got a table after 10.
We had crossed this place so many times, but never visited since the place looked empty (and we gradually started thinking it’s probably not so good). And we were so wrong! Continue reading
