Candolim, Goa

This was our last evening in North Goa and we thought “you can never have enough of beaches, isn’t it” :)? And so, we went to the lovely Candolim beach.

This beach was less crowded than Baga and Calangute, and hence cleaner too. Waves were high here and we couldn’t go much deep into the waters. But we did have lovely walk to Fort Aguada.

Goa diaries, Day 1

We made a pit stop at Dudhsagar Spa Resort on the way to North Goa. It’s a big open place near Mollem check post, you can’t miss it. 

Service was very slow but our pakoras turned out to be fresh and tasty. We finished our snacks and started for our first destination Calangute, which took around an hour and half to reach.
We had booked a lagoon villa in Calangute Casitas on Airbnb this time, since we were staying for a longer duration and didn’t want to eat out all the time. This was first experience with Airbnb, which unfortunately didn’t turn out to be all that nice due to various reasons.

Pubbing punjabi style @ Peddlers

Coming to Chandigarh and not checking out the nightlife! Not done 🙂

And when in Punjab, do as the Punjabis do 🙂 So Friday night we headed to a place called Peddlers, which had decent number of good Zomato reviews and was located in the very famous Elante Mall. I made a booking and reached around 9:30.

The place was sort of empty, but the music was nice and not too loud. It’s not a very big place, but has a lovely rustic ambiance.

24@43 – Crowne Plaza, Electronic City

Such a lovely place! I regret not having discovered this earlier. After reading nice reviews on zomato, we decided to give this place a try for Sunday brunch.

The hotel looks beautiful, the restaurant is spacious and tastefully done. I actually loved the fact it was not so crowded. They had live music too which was quite nice. We opted for buffet(incl alcohol) which came up to a little more than 4k for 2 of us.
