Places like this are saviours when our cook goes on unannounced leaves. We ordered breakfast from here a couple of times and were quite happy with the food.
Mr. H was missing pooris and I was craving for some bondas, so we decided to try out this place which had both! We placed an order for plain pooris, mysore bondas, medu vada and kanchipuram idli.
Of late, plenty of excellent ‘home delivery only’ options have popped up in the city. 48 East is one of them, which delivers delicious fares from 48 Asian countries. Their menu changes every week, so you’ll always get something new to treat your taste buds.
Over the past few weeks, I have tried many dishes from this place, some hits and some misses. Read on for more.
“Wok Paper Scissors” probably gets its name from the very popular hand game “Rock Paper Scissors”. I haven’t visited the restaurant, but sampled some of its food over this weekend.
Here is what I ordered:
Fantastic find for those slider cravings!
A couple of days back we had ordered burgers from a certain very popular place in Koramangala, which turned out to be disappointing. So we thought of trying out this new place hoping to find a nice burger place and I’m glad we did!
We placed an order for a portion of flake fried veg slider and an American chicken slider.
A couple of days back while looking for place to order dinner from, we came across this place called ‘Hungry Lee‘ on Swiggy. The name was amusing and their menu had many tempting dishes, so both of us decided to try it out.
They have something called “Create your hungry bowl”, wherein you can choose noodles/rice, a protein and a sauce. We chose to get a portion of spicy creamy tofu dimsums, tofu hungry bowl in black bean sauce with stir fried noodles and Burmese khow suey.
The Bowl Company is a great initiative by Swiggy (read more about it here) and a gem of a place for couch potatoes like us. If you are looking for some delicious comfort food delivered at your doorstep, this is just the perfect place. Over the past few weeks we have tried different bowls from their menu and loved each and every one of them.
This legendary place called ‘The Hole in the Wall Cafe‘ had been on my list forever and I never got to visit it due to the never-ending queues there. The place doesn’t take reservations and parking is a hassle, which doesn’t help the case either!
So the other day when this place popped up on my Swiggy app, I was very happy and we both decided to order from there. They have a superb breakfast menu as well as lots of burgers/sandwiches to choose from. I placed an order for a grilled double chicken sandwich, big ‘shrooms & onions sandwich and a portion of hash browns.
