Weekends always turn both of us into gluttons, not that I’m complaining 🙂 And since it’s a mandate to have pizza on Friday/Saturday, we ordered from good ol’ Domino’s after noticing high delivery times for other places.
After polishing down food from Domino’s with some beautiful Sula Dindori Reserve Shiraz(yes, wrong pairing I know!), we felt the need to have something spicy.
And so I placed an order from Empire, HSR for dosa chicken. Hubby of course being mostly vegetarian, opted for jeera rice and paneer butter masala.
Ever heard of BDS? No, I’m not talking about Bachelor of Dental Surgery. This is a new term coined by Mr. H and stands for Biryani Deficiency Syndrome, and apparently I suffer from it time to time 😀
So yesterday after being diagnosed with BDS, I decided to order some medication and was very happy to discover that Nandhana Palace had started delivering to our place. No one else was in a mood for outside food, so I ordered just one Hyderabadi chicken biryani.
Food delivery apps can be lifesavers, when you are craving for restaurant food, but don’t want to step out of the comfort of your house. So yesterday night, I spotted this place called “Delicacy” on one of these apps, and placed an order.
The menu looked good, with the usual dishes one sees at most of the desi-chinese places. I placed an order for veg noodles, Thai red curry(chicken) and veg balls in hot garlic sauce. Prices are quite low here, and I was happy to see my total bill 😀
Tired after a lot of shopping and with no energy to go out for dinner, I started looking up places on food delivery apps. Spotted this place with a curious name and decided to try it out. I checked out their website and figured the name is attributed to the fact that 75% of our body composition is based on what we eat.
Their menu, though quite limited, looked good and I ordered 2 sandwiches-one chicken blanc and another mushroom blanc.
Happy New Year!
I didn’t try out any new places post 25th Dec last year, but spent my last week going to my usual favourites and putting on some extra kilos 🙂 Well…
Past couple of days however, I was getting a major biryani craving and though I absolutely love Hyderabadi biryani, the spices don’t get along quite well with my tummy 😦 So I was trying to pacify my cravings looking at the tempting pictures of it 😛 Last night, I eventually gave up and ordered a biryani for dinner.
Chilly winds, delicious hazelnut coffee and the fragrance of biryani. Ah, life’s good!
After receiving numerous pamphlets from Behrouz biryani, we finally decided to try it out. The menu looked quite tempting and we ordered for a Lazeez murgh biryani. The delivery took a really long time, and after some frantic phone calls, we finally received our food.
Following our usual tradition of ordering in on Sunday nights, we got dinner from this cafe in BTM. The photos on Zomato looked quite charming and I hoped food would be good too.
We placed an order for grilled chicken sandwich, mushroom cheese sandwich and a portion of crispy veggies (which looked especially tempting on the delivery app). Everything arrived on time, which was great for a Sunday evening.
