Over the last weekend, the usually jam-packed city roads were quite peaceful. So we decided to brave the distance and go to this place called “Churchill’s“ in JP Nagar for dinner. The photos looked gorgeous on Zomato and it was also listed among “Best bars & pubs”.
The pub is spread across the second floor of a building. Interiors here have that typical dim lighting, nice wood furniture and the place offers loads of F&B choices. Both of us were famished and quickly asked for a portion of butter garlic mushrooms, crispy corn, a Manhattan and Churchill’s Long John. Read on for how I liked the food and drinks.
Visit to Goa is never quite complete without enjoying its nightlife 🙂 Last time it was Club Cabana, and this time around, we thought of doing some pub hopping in Tito’s lane.
After dropping parents off at home, four of us reached Tito’s around 10 p.m. Entry fees per couple is INR 1000 and you can redeem it against any F&B. The place looks beautiful with a variety of seating. The decor is charming with perfect lighting, elegant furniture and looks like a perfect place to unwind. Dance floor is in a separate section, if you want to shake a leg. Continue reading
Looking for super-boozy drinks with some seriously good food? Head to Harry’s Bar & cafe in Koramangala. I had been to their Whitefield outlet before and loved that too, but now I think I’m slightly biased towards this one.
We usually stay in on Friday nights, thanks to the mad traffic outside. But this Friday, after a restaurant goofed up our home delivery order, we headed out for dinner. And as luck would have it, we didn’t get any table in Fenny’s and Social.
I had Harry’s also on my mind, so we finally went there and bingo! Got a table immediately. The place had booming music and was almost packed. Well, almost 🙂
Last time when we went to this place, it was yet to open. So this Saturday after our movie in market city, I subtly suggested that we go to VR mall and see how this place was doing 😀
The pub looks beautiful from outside, they have put up vintage wall clocks on display on the outer wall, along with some beautiful portraits of Ireland.
We were quickly ushered to a table and I was momentarily stunned by the gorgeous interiors. Lighting was just perfect, not so dark that you’d keep bumping into tables, and not so bright either.
