This place had been on my list for a long while, but we never got around to visiting it for some reason or the other. Over the long weekend, we decided to tick it off our list and went for lunch. But I was on one of my vegetarian streaks, and didn’t try out any of the non-vegetarian fares 🙂
BonSouth looks like a big village house with whitewashed walls and a mini garden. There’s a waiting area outside lined with cushions that add just the right pop of colour. The place is huge with plenty of seating available, both indoor and outdoor.
Have mixed feelings about this place. I had visited the Southindies outlet near Infantry road quite a few times, when I was staying in that area, and I must say that outlet was far more beautiful than this one. Even though the food is good here, the place is slightly mismanaged.
We went here this Saturday, with a reservation through Zomato, but still had to wait for a while before we were ushered to our table. They have some outside seating too, and I was glad that we got a table there overlooking the busy 100ft road.
I was very happy when this outlet first opened. Since then I have been here multiple times, and have rarely been disappointed. This one is run by Jabalpur coffee board, so the south indian fares taste a little different (not in a bad way though) :).
Guess this place was good once upon a time, not so anymore.
