It’s nice to see more and more authentic Pan Asian places opening up in the city. This weekend we spotted a new place called Wok to Asia and went for lunch.
The restaurant has valet parking, so you won’t have any parking woes 🙂 Interiors are neat & bright with colourful origami birds dangling from the ceiling. It serves both buffet and à la carte, and has a beautiful bar counter too.
Spotted this not-yet-tried place called Mojo Pizza with a tempting menu and great reviews over the weekend. My other(or better :)) half was not ready to give up the couch on Sunday, so I placed an order for home delivery.
I got a farm fresh thin crust pizza with some extra mushrooms and corn and a portion of cheesy garlic bread. Order was dispatched within 15 minutes which was impressive and reached us soon in two colourful boxes and in mint condition.
There are times when quaint cafes and rustic microbreweries just don’t cut it. This was one such weekend when I was yearning for some booming music & dim lights, and moreover it had been a while since we visited a pub.
So this Saturday we decided to go to Tilt. It’s a gastropub located in Koramangala 5th Block with excellent F&B choices and great service.
I made a reservation through Zomato and we reached there just a little after eight. The place has two different sections of seating. Outer one is more like a casual lounge with not so loud music. The inner section has a small dance floor and is split into different seating areas. It has just the perfect kind of dim lighting.
After being stuck at home for most part of Saturday(first due to a long jam and then thunderstorms), we decided to go out for lunch on Sunday. Boca Grande was chosen because of its beautiful photos and tempting menu.
We reached the cafe around 1:30 and took a table inside. Their outdoor seating is picture perfect with wooden benches and cobblestone ground, but it was quite hot to sit outside. So we moved in and took our time choosing a table since the place was almost empty(now I think we should’ve taken the hint :)).
Both of us were looking forward to a lunch at a new place in HSR this Saturday, but after witnessing a rather long jam right in front of our apartment, we came back home and decided to order in.
Mr. H suggested Kachori Cafe and we placed an order online for kadhi kachori, pav bhaji, chole kulche and papdi chat (yes, we were starving!).
I had been frequently working Hoot into our weekend conversations of “where do we go for lunch today?”. Mr. H finally gave in this weekend, and we went there for a late lunch 🙂
Hoot is a massive microbrewery located on Sarjapur Road and is a new addition to the rapidly expanding list of microbreweries in the city. It is spread over a whopping 40000 sq ft and resembles a warehouse or garage from outside.
I had seen some beautiful pictures of its striking ambiance on different websites and blogs, and was looking forward to visiting it.
Muffets & Tuffets is a beautiful cafe in Koramangala that derives its name from an old nursery rhyme called “Little Miss Muffet“. We went here for lunch this weekend and had some surprisingly good food.
They have a big menu with loads of stuff to choose from, everything from sandwiches, burgers, salads to delicious sounding mains. There is also a very tempting dessert counter which is not to be missed 🙂 The cafe has decent amount of seating and is very quiet & peaceful. Seating is very comfortable and service is pretty good.
