I absolutely love cheery bright eateries, where I can see and admire what I am eating 🙂 And Cafe Pascucci is one such beautiful cafe in HSR.
This Friday night, breaking our usual tradition of not stepping out into the mad traffic, we went to HSR for a late dinner. I had crossed this cafe loads of times, but never got around to visiting it until this weekend. We reached around 10:30 p.m., and the place was completely packed. We had to rush for cover as it starting pouring out of nowhere!
The cafe is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is surrounded by glass walls and beautiful hanging lights. We initially sat outside, but had to move in due to the downpour and flying insects.
It was getting late, so we decided to skip appetizers and ordered for a baked mac n cheese(chicken), quattro stagioni pizza, garlic bread and a lemon iced tea.
We were starving and thankfully our pizza and pasta arrived soon. I liked the pizza, it had a perfectly baked crisp thin crust, loaded with cheese, peppers, corn and mushrooms.
Pasta was covered with a layer of cheese and tasted good, except that the cheese sauce was a bit too milky in taste. Chicken was soft and perfect. Garlic bread served with it was melt-in-your-mouth fresh and delicious.
Iced tea took really long to make an appearance, but it was very refreshing. They had kept our request of less sugar in mind.
Garlic bread with cheese was delectable. I don’t think I’ve had such fresh and soft bread at many cafes in the city. I would definitely recommend this.
A good meal, and a beautiful place. I am definitely going back. Service can be better and hope they do something about the flying insects outside.
Some food gyan now 🙂 Quattro stagioni literally translates to four seasons and is a variety of pizza in Italy. Read more about it here.
