Goa diaries, Day 2

Beautiful sunny beaches, food, beer and wind in my hair..that’s Goa for me πŸ™‚

After finishing breakfast at home, we walked to the beach. The main road in Calangute is lined with loads of restobars and shops to eat and shop from.

After enjoying the lovely waves and turning a few shades darker :D, we got seated at one of the shacks for beers, fries and sandwiches. Frankly, I have lost track of the amount of beer I’ve had during this week πŸ™‚ Veg sandwich was good, and chicken sandwich was super delicious. It was cheesy and loaded with tender chunks of perfectly cooked chicken.

After having a couple more rounds of drinks and food, we went to one of the Udupi Sagars and had the best buttermilk ever! In fact, we ended up having multiple glasses of it! And post that, we launched into our usual discussion of what to eat and where to go next πŸ˜€

In the evening we decided to go towards Anjuna beach. After not finding any cafes there, we started back to Calangute and spotted a place called Garden something. We had a couple of drinks along with some terrible gobhi manchurian and prawns.

For dinner we had some noodles, veg machurian gravy, fish curry with rice, aloo matar and some rotis at a place called Sunrise in Baga. Looking at the number of people, I had assumed that food would be great. But it turned out to be quite average, you can give it a miss.
