Just as I start thinking that I have tried all the pizza places in Koramangala, a new place with an amusing name pops up! Love this city 🙂
Ministry of pizza serves delicious pizzas and has beer on tap. What’s not to love! The place is located right opposite to Nagarjuna and looks charming. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating. They also have an open kitchen outside and you can see the pizzas getting baked right in front of you.
They don’t have a very elaborate menu, but they have something called craft pizzas wherein you can choose any 5 toppings you want, for no extra cost. We ordered 2 portions of garlic bread, with and without cheese, a mushroom medley pizza and a craft pizza with grilled eggplant, olives, mushrooms etc., all to go.
Our order took a little longer than what we were told, since our server had forgotten to prepare one of the pizzas. Just a few initial hiccups I suppose, and I am sure the place will get past them.
Pizzas had gone cold by the time we reached, but just a bit of grilling and baking fixed them. Portions of garlic bread were quite big, and I absolutely loved the taste.Fresh mozzarella, sprinkled with herbs on soft garlic bread, they tasted divine.
You can never go wrong with mushrooms and cheese and Mushroom medley pizza was loaded with them. nothing to fault here.
I loved the craft pizza too. Their pizza sauce was a little too sweet for my taste, but they were generous with all the toppings I had chosen. I especially loved the grilled eggplants. They were perfectly done, slightly charred at the edges and soft in the middle which I loved.
I wish they start serving thin crust pizzas too. Being a thin crust lover, I found their pizza bases a little doughy.
Overall an excellent meal, and I look forward to going there again, this time for dine-in rather than takeaway. Highly recommended for pizza lovers.
