If you are a Bangalorean and haven’t visited this place, you are missing something ๐ I can’t stop gushing about this place, so this review is a long one ๐
This place had been on my to-visit list for a while, but it’s really far from my place (somewhere around 23 kms), so it was still pending. We finally got a chance to visit this paradise on a weekday. Thankfully it didn’t take us very long for reaching this place, but a long time to come back home.
It is spread across 6th and 8th floor of a particular building in EPIP zone, Whitefield. We both instantly fell in love with the place, the moment we stepped in. It is classy and not at all loud in terms of decor and music.
I noticed free tables outside and insisted we we occupy one of them. Outside seating is limited but lovely. Classic wooden patio furniture and lovely breeze. The lounge itself is like a library bar, with plenty of books to read if you are on your own. Servers are not at all interfering, and you can sit for long hours without being interrupted by anyone. They were playing jazz inside, which was soothing ย and not too loud.
Service is excellent here and servers are very polite. Our server got us a tab and explained how to choose items and place order. He mentioned happy hours were on, which meant around some discount on brews and selected cocktails.
I was a little disappointed to see that nachos were unavailable, but the vast and interesting choices of cocktails made me forget that ๐ Hubby ordered ย Hefeweizen beer and I ordered a Chanel No. 5, along with bulgogi wedges (potato wedges ย in Korean bulgogi sauce) and mushroom galouti kebab. Service was quick and everything we ordered arrived soon.
Chanel No. 5 was just like the original Chanel No. 5, classic and exquisite ๐ It was refreshing and had wonderful citrus flavours. Best cocktail ever! And Mr. H declared his German brew the best brew ever too ๐ I not being much of a beer lover, loved it too. It was delicious and had a wonderful aftertaste.
Mushroom kebabs were placed inside small flat breads. Kebabs were wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Flat breads were a little crisp on the outside, soft inside and quite tasty.
Hubby then ordered an Indian pale ale, and I thought to myself “it’d be a sin not to have LIT here”. And so, I ordered one ๐ We then requested our server to move us inside, since it was warm outside. Inside seating was much more comfortable with plush couches. Again, service was very quick and out drinks arrived soon. Beer was spot on and LIT was great too. I usually judge a pub/lounge by the kind of LITs they serve and this was perfect. It was splendid and not overloaded with cola. Loved it!
I was intrigued to see samosas on the menu, and out of curiosity we order a plate of them. They tasted exactly like the ones at a local chat shop , but with less spices. They had just the perfect amount of filling and crispy, flaky, perfectly fried shells. Mr. H, who is a samosa aficionado, couldn’t stop gushing about them ๐
After we gulped down our delicious beverages, I thought “who knows when we’d come back here, so let’s have another one!”.ย I convinced Mr.H to get a smoked whiskey cocktail(can’t remember the exact name) and got myself a moscow mule. It was quite interesting to see the bartender prepare the smoked cocktail ๐ It was potent and one sip popped our eyes open ๐
Moscow mule was remarkable too, and a prefect ending to our visit.
Really appreciate the fact that the washrooms were spic and span, which is rarity for crowded pubs/lounges these days.
I suppose, given a choice, I might just be able to spend my whole day here. This place definitely tops my list of favourite places in the city. Nothing to fault and no complaints about anything at all!

Do you have any points for first-time blog writers?
I’d definitely appreciate it.

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
Itโs pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners
and bloggers made good content as you did,
the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
