I had my eyes on this place for a while now, but somehow never got to visiting it. This weekend Mr. Husband had a major pizza craving, and after I absolutely refused to order in from Domino’s, we decided to try out Whooppeezz.
They have 1+1 offer for pizzas on Fridays(Yay!) and you can choose 2 different pizzas. Their menu contains all the usual staples of a pizza place-varieties of garlic breads, pizzas, pastas and desserts. They have some interesting keema tarts, which I plan to try next time 🙂
Restaurant decor is plain and simple, nothing much to write about. I felt the place was not well ventilated, not a place I would like to sit down and eat. We ordered for Mama’s pizza, Veg Explotica pizza and a portion of mushroom and cheese garlic bread.
The counter guy said it’d take around 10-15 minutes, so we decided to go back to Forum and get our car.
After 15 minutes, I went in and enquired about our order and their guy said another 10 minutes. This went on for a while(about 35 minutes or so). Finally we received our order and came back home. Unfortunately pizzas had gone cold by the time we reached home, thanks to Bangalore traffic, but a little bit of grilling fixed it 🙂
Pizzas were quite big and packing was sturdy.
Pizzas were savoury, perfectly rolled thin crust, loaded with cheese, fresh vegetable toppings, flavourful basil and baked to perfection. Both of them were delicately seasoned and were exquisite.
Garlic bread wasn’t so pretty looking, but tasted absolutely divine. It was loaded with cheese and earthy mushrooms and was delicious.
A scrumptious meal, perfect value for money and definitely worth going back. The only drawback is their long waiting time.
