There is no dearth of cafes in Bangalore, and especially Koramangala. We spotted a place called Entropy this weekend which had great reviews on Zomato. We were intrigued by its name and decided to give it a try.
Entropy is located inside an open food court like place called “Eat Street”. It looks quite colorful and cheerful from outside. There are a couple of small outdoor fountains which looked beautiful, since it was raining.
We reached around lunch and went upstairs to Entropy. I was a little skeptical about the place, since we were the only customers 🙂
Decor is very simple here, and the place is quite spacious and airy. It is probably popular for sheesha, and their food menu is not very exciting. We ordered for penne pasta in alfredo sauce, chilli corn sandwich, and masala lime.
It took a while for our food to arrive. Masala lime was just average. Pasta was decent and the sauce was gooey & cheesy, but there were hardly any veggies in it. Sandwich was a major disappointment. It was just some american corn stuffed in bread :o.
Well, I think just nice ambiance can’t make a cafe work. It needs some good food too. This kind of food will probably work in canteens, but not in a cafe. And going by the food standard of food served here, I’d say this place is overpriced. Not worth going back.
P.S. Is a place like this licensed to sell it’s own branded packaged water bottles?
