It was love at first sight! If you want to gorge on delicious food at a cafe with beautiful cheery decor, this is the place to be.
It has got beautiful white brick walls, non cluttered space (and lots of it!), a few funny posters here and there and board games if you get bored 🙂 All the tables have got sheets, leather bound diaries and color pencils to doodle. Paradise! 🙂
They have got different sections with different kinds of seating. So depending on how big your group is, you can choose.
We ordered for twice the grilliant, fair & lovelee which was a egg whites omelette with greens) (Mr. Husband suddenly decided to take the healthy way :D), hash browns (and back to deep fried!), ginger tea and watermelon juice.
In the meanwhile, I doodled a little bit on the diary kept at our table. This is one place where you can spend your entire day without getting bored.
Our server was lovely and the food arrived soon, and everything looked mouthwatering. Chicken sandwich looked good, and tasted even more so. The stuffing constituted of smoked chicken rolled in mayonnaise, some fresh lettuce and tomato, all of which tasted absolutely delightful. It was unarguably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. It was accompanied with chunky french fries.
Omelette was equally good, light, fluffy and stuffed with greens. And you can’t go wrong with hash browns, can you? Fried to perfection and crisp, they tasted heavenly and not greasy at all.
Tea was nice too, and not too milky (just the way we had requested). Watermelon juice was served in a nice mason jar (love!).
They even gave us a potted holy basil, which was a really nice gesture.
This is my favorite cafe in the city now and I’m definitely going to be a regular here. Highly recommended for its excellent service, delectable dishes and charming ambiance.
