So we discovered a new pizza place in HSR, which does home delivery to our house. Sadly, it didn’t have good reviews. But hubby was insistent on giving the place a chance, and I’m quite happy I listened to him 😀
The menu was extensive and the descriptions looked yummy. There was no choice of crusts, but the photos on zomato looked like those of thin crust pizzas and we decided to take a chance.
Ordered for purpigna pizza, zorba pizza and special crostini through zomato. Frankly, I was not hoping for much looking at number of reviews and ratings. It took around an hour for our order to arrive, which was within the eta.
Both the pizzas looked delightful, made with thin crust and generously topped with mushrooms, corn and cheese.
The salt and seasoning was a little less for my Indian taste buds, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. I also loved the fact that the pizza bases weren’t covered with the overly tangy tomato sauce some places use.
I put a bit of salt & seasoning and popped them in the oven, and voila! Yummy pizzas!
Crostini were equally good. There were 2 kinds, a pair topped with tomatoes and another with cheese & mushroom. Both of them tasted fresh and cheese & mushroom can never taste bad, can they? 🙂 One of the breads had some toppings missing and I would have loved to see some olive oil too, but I didn’t really mind, since rest of it was so good.
This place is definitely on my home delivery list now. Do give it a try.
