I suppose this is the one of the few sizzler places in HSR and near to my home. We dropped in for dinner on friday around 9:30. It is right next to McDonald’s and wasn’t very crowded for a friday night.
We both liked the place instantly because of it’s neat and simplistic decor, brick walls and posters. We were quickly ushered to a corner table and were provided food menus.
I was on a vegetarian streak, thanks to the terrible heat in the city 😮 , and decided to order a Captain Jack’s Special. My husband ordered a veg burger. We also asked for cocolime and tropical burst mocktails.
I was very happy that our server was well informed on all the steaks and burgers. We don’t get that often in most of the places.
Drinks appeared soon. Cocolime was excellent, coconut water with a hint of lime. Tropical burst was more of a smoothie, a little on the sweeter side but quite nice.
Our food didn’t take very long either. They also gave a gravy boat with jack daniel’s gravy. My steak was average, cottage cheese was not really grilled, but the gravy tasted excellent and I didn’t mind the otherwise bland steak. Mashed potatoes were good and rice was delicately flavored (just the way I like).
Burger was mindblowing. Easily one of the best I’ve had. The burger bun was soft and fluffy, patty was perfectly crisp from outside and moist inside. Potato wedges were also perfect.
I am definitely going back for their other steaks and burgers next time.
