Beautiful place on the busy food street in koramangala 5th block. This place had always looked inviting(thanks to the wonderful photos here).
After looking at the reviews which talked about the place getting crowded over weekends, we called up to book a table, but the receptionist told us that they didn’t take bookings after 1’o clock. Hmph!
We reached there around 2:30 hoping to get a table and luckily got one in a couple of minutes even though it was quite crowded.
The place looked beautiful with high ceiling and a big tree right in the middle of the restaurant.
We placed an order for veg dimsum platter, which our server said would take 15-20 mins. But, we were pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 5 mins. There were 4 varieties of colorful dimsums (2 of each), all of which looked delicious. I don’t remember the names, but can recollect some of the prime ingredients.
Green dimsums – tasted like spicy soya granules
Translucent white dimsums – corn and spinach
The other two were pink and orange, one of them had shiitake mushrooms and one had bamboo shoots as far as I can recollect. There was no dearth of filling in the dimsums and all of them were cooked to perfection.
For our main course we ordered thai massaman curry (chicken) and veg burmese curried noodles (can’t recollect the exact name). It didn’t take very long for our food to arrive. Both the curries tasted heavenly and were definitely the best thai curries I’ve had in bangalore. The chicken and vegetables were cooked just right, not too raw and not overcooked. None of the curries was overly creamy.
Can’t wait to go back again. Highly recommended.
