Was always eager to try out this place and finally did this weekend.
Despite being small, it doesn’t feel cramped at all.
The decor is beautiful and charming, and the place looks neat. There’s a small open kitchen at the corner and a coffee counter decorated with ceramics.
We ordered for chicken sausages, cheese and herb stuffed mushrooms, veg quesadillas, iced americano and peach iced tea.
Our server asked us not to order iced americano since it wasn’t good (according to him) 🙂 He said it was black coffee, to which we politely told him that we knew what americano is and wanted exactly that.
There was a major confusion with “veg” quesadillas, since the server kept repeating chicken quesadillas and we had to correct him every time.
Anyway, I was happy to see that drinks arrived soon, but was soon disappointed when my main course of sausages arrived before starters (stuffed mushrooms). And then we began our long wait for rest of the food.
After around half an hour and asking our server whereabouts of our order, he got us chicken quesadillas. Upon pointing out that we wanted veg and not chicken quesadillas he looked confused at first and then remembered what we had ordered. He apologized and said veg portions will take time. Seriously?
Mushrooms took another 10 mins and we had to cancel quesadillas.
Chicken sausages were delicious. They were done perfectly, somewhat different from what I had pictured though. They were sauteed with onions and tomatoes, but tasted quite nice. Mashed potatoes were yummy too.
Would hate to see such a nice place with great food go down, because of sloppy service.
Not sure if I will go back here. Don’t think I can wait so long for my food anywhere and then receive a wrong order.
