This is one of those places that makes you feel happy the moment you enter 🙂 They have 2 floors of seating and a narrow (but nice) seating area outside as well.
We went around lunch time and ground floor was almost full, so we moved to first floor. The ambiance is cheerful and nice.
They have wooden benches for seating, but somehow not at all uncomfortable. Their tables are well spaced, so the place doesn’t feel crammed.
When we visited this weekend, they had started some of their set menus. We opted for a 3 course meal.
We ordered for
Red and white house wines, both of which were decent
Cheesy garlic bread and hot chilli & cheese garlic bread (2 pieces of each)
Milano cream penne pasta
Don’t remember name of the pizza we ordered, I think it was verona exotica
Both varieties of garlic breads were delicious. Their ciabatta bread was perfect. Light and fluffy and loaded with cheese. We both absolutely loved the pasta, not overly creamy and just the right amount of garnishing. Pizza was a just a tiny bit overdone, though we didn’t mind that since everything was so good!
Service was great, servers were attentive but not intrusive at all.
Another great thing about the place, that I really appreciate, their washroom was very clean. Something that I hardly see in crowded restaurants these days.
This place is definitely worth visiting, if you are looking for lip smacking food and don’t want to shell out too much.
I can’t really find a single negative for this place, except for their large amount taxes they charge in the bill.
