We visited this place a few days back, when this came up as a good buffet place on zomato. Was amused by the photos posted, and decided to give it a try.
The entrance looks more like that of a scary house. We were thinking of ditching the place when the receptionist showed no interest in offering us one of the many empty tables, but finally one of the waiters came and ushered us to our table.
There was a complimentary drink which was over-sweetened mint water (yes, that’s innovative! pun intended 🙂 )
We started with veg starters, which were just okay. When I asked the waiter for non-veg starter refills, he mumbled something and left. The soup was over too, and refill took a lot of time.
We finally gave up and moved to main course, which was even more disappointing. I had no idea, someone could make bad dal makhni! Most of the non-veg items were over, there was a chicken starter in one of trays marked “fish”.
Now coming to deserts, there were sad little gulabjamuns. Only 2 of them were left and again the waiters were too bored to refill them.
We finished quickly and asked for the check, which arrived promptly but our card took ages to come back.
Thankfully the food is cheap (no pun intended 😀 ) here, they don’t charge for any sort of taxes in the bill.
Oh, and I noticed after coming out, that this place claims to server 55 types of buffet (whatever that means!) I guess if someone’s fine with bad service, average food, juvenile attempt at creating a jungle like ambiance, this is an ideal place.
